„Let the outer spaces interact with the interior“
– Hubert de Givenchy
Location: Approx. 70 m2 in a historic building in seaside resort architecture
Use: Partly private, partly rented out to
holiday guests
Concept:
• To create a place to feel good and relax in, a place you look forward to returning to
• A place that provides room for togetherness as well as peace and retreat
Implementation:
• Selection of materials for floor, doors and walls
• Coordination of the interior work with the carpenter, painter and dry wall constructor
• Make room for a second bedroom by integrating the kitchen into the living room
• Mount a suspended ceiling between the living room and the veranda to restructure the room
• Mount stucco to recreate the authentic style
• Development of a colour concept: shades of beige and chalk extend the beach atmosphere into the flat and thereby create a relaxing holiday atmosphere
• Selection of furniture and fabrics
Furnishings: an individual mixture of
generous sized upholstery, design classics, art and accessories
